Demonstrate the relationship between wavelength and frequency in a way your students will never forget. You can even stretch the spring through a large slit in a piece of cardboard to demonstrate how a polarizing filter works. Is nice, but I honestly think it might be a bit too long. Could be my classroom is pretty small. Still works for what I need it for.

This is the best way I've seen to show transverse/compressional waves. Bought it for a demo and decided to buy 7 more after reading over the lesson plan so students can make the waves for themselves.
