Challenging but frustrating & missing a piece

This is a challenging puzzle with all of the extra just black pieces around the outside, but also very frustrating because the pieces are so similar in shape that they seem to fit, but don't really. We finally just shoved some in. We were also disappointed because we were missing one piece. The pieces around it were torn slightly like it didn't get cut right. The periodic table part was fun though.

A covid-19 Activity

I'm a quarantined retired hs chemteacher. The puzzled looked like an activity to think about something besides covid-19. Wow was it ever. This is a very challenging puzzle! (Lots of small black pieces.) But I'm thoroughly enjoying assembling it. I'm now on day 5 and counting. I hope I finish before my county lifts the stay at home order.

Fun way to the learn the perioid table

I ordered it for myself and it is a challenging puzzle. I learned a lot more about the lesser known elements. I plan to use this in my classroom but only give them a section to work on at a time to make it a little easier. I only wish it came with a full size poster to use as a reference for the puzzle itself and to use in my classroom.

I purchased this puzzle to celebrate the International Year of the Periodic Table (2019). It is taking longer to put together than I anticipated. Once it is done, the puzzle will be framed and I will hang in my classroom.

My college students loved this and have spent hours working on this challenging puzzle in small groups. They learned a lot about the elements while doing it and sharpened their recollection of element locations on the periodic table.

Fun way to learn the elements

I have a number of visuals by the designer of this puzzle, so my students have several ways to get familiar with the period table. This is great to leave out for kids from different classes to work on. Then they also recognize them on the PT cards and website. Excellent activity, graphics and concept
